The purpose of this role is to assist in protecting Clients data through proactive review of internal and external transactions to identity fraudulent and/or inappropriate access of the data which warrant further investigation. This role will also review and investigate complaints of fraudulent activity along with other suspect alerts of potential fraud.


  • Review security monitoring reports to identify suspicious patterns that warrant further investigations.

  • Investigate any suspicious patterns that could be indicative of fraud or a security risk as necessary.

  • Analyze and provide ongoing recommendations and result of current high risk behaviors and alerts as changes occur, so that security reports can be modified or developed to continue to encompass risky behaviors.

  • Quality control analysis and troubleshooting of applications and reports

  • The individual must be able to respond to complaints of fraud, analyze the activity and make effective decisions as to the development into a case for further investigation or that the activity is within an acceptable business practice. These decisions must be made within a strict SLA timeline.


  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Solid experience with Word and Excel applications and manipulation of data within excel to include working with charts and pivot tables

  • Prior utilization of fraud detection platforms (i.e. iOvation, CyberSource, ThreatMetrix, etc.)

  • 2-5 years of proven analytical responsibilities

  • Prior investigations or fraud prevention background (a plus)

  • Ability to make quick, accurate, & consistent decisions about data indicators

  • Ability to assess and conduct an investigation and make recommendations

  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision
