Kforce Project Analyst in Anaheim, California

A Kforce client is looking for a Project Analyst in Anaheim, CA to join their team. They are seeking a fast paced and energetic individual that is highly motivated. This position reports to the Regional Business Manager, oversees, develops, and implements project controls and assists with reporting, analysis and project reviews. The client has been the go-to concrete services partner for a wide-range of industries since 1957. What began as a single flat saw operation has developed into an expansive offering of concrete solutions, including concrete scanning, cutting, sawing and breaking/removal. Their capabilities and expertise span across 43 locations in 21 states & Canada.Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the review of weekly project progress with estimators, sales, and branch managers. Identification of major variances, and recommend/suggest/execute performance improvement steps. Update work in progress and project estimates

  • Perform project reviews and reconciliations

  • Works with administrative and project personnel to accurately track job costs and compares with budgets and estimates

  • Works with contract administrators and project teams to accurately track change orders, project scope and ensure accurate and timely billing and collections

  • Assist in the collection and development of monthly forecasts of expected results

  • Compile and conduct analysis of project backlogs, pipeline, and expenses on a weekly basis

  • Review current project administrative and control processes. Identify and implement improvements for more efficient and effective operations

  • Assist Regional leadership and Branch Managers in compiling and analyzing key performance indicators, and trends

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and projects as required

  • Bachelor's degree in, with a minimum of 3 years' experience including 2 -3 years' experience working in a construction environment with multi-site locations

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and goal oriented individual

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the Management team

  • Strong proficiency in Excel required, Experience with reporting software and advanced Excel skills a plus

  • Strong organizational skills, project/task management experience, communication and cross-functional coordination skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with changes in direction and focus and manage to deadlines
