Kforce Support Analyst in Appleton, Wisconsin

Kforce is looking for a Support Analyst for a premier partner in the Appleton, Wisconsin (WI) area. This position will be six months and could lead to conversion.Summary:This position is for an experienced help-desk or technical support professional. The position will support a large technology infrastructure which includes 8,000 end-users. The Support Analyst assists the IT user community by resolving issues that directly affect their ability to perform their job function effectively. The security risk level for this position is moderate; therefore, the incumbent may be subject to additional background screening requirements.

  • Associate's degree in Network Systems, Information Technology, or related field

  • An A Certification and/or Network Certification

  • Internship experience

  • Experience with direct customer support in a technical environment preferred

  • Help Desk Analyst Certification or equivalent experience desired

  • Proven ability to resolve problems efficiently and effectively, recognizing customers' competence levels, and interacting with customers competently and courteously while exhibiting an appropriate sense of urgency

  • Work effectively within a team-oriented customer support culture

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application software and Windows desktop operating systems

  • Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals, PC hardware, and peripheral devices

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
