Kforce QA Lead in Atlanta, Georgia

A Kforce client is seeking a QA Lead in Atlanta, Georgia (GA). This job requisition is for a "Domestic-MSP" position. Essential Functions:

  • Prepares and implements the QA strategy for the program/project

  • Identifies QA resources needed for the program/project

  • Provides QA work estimates and QA-specific resource requirements

  • Leads the Test Engineers in ensuring that adequate testing is executed

  • Creates and maintains the test artifacts in QC (test cases, test results and defects)

  • Attends Test Readiness review

  • Documents the test cases in QC or imports from an Excel spreadsheet

  • Completes traceability matrix by linking requirements to test cases in QC

  • Sets up the test components for test execution

  • Executes manual test cases

  • Logs and tracks defects in QC to resolution

  • Provides guidance and best practices for testing

  • Provides testing resources with training and mentoring on the testing processes, test standards, and the testing tools

  • Collaborates with experienced Performance Test Engineers for performance testing consulting and support

  • Collaborates with experienced Automated Testing Engineers for test automation consulting, scripting, and support

  • Collaborates with experienced Security Test Engineers for software security testing consulting and support

  • Sets up projects in Quality Center and ensures that the standard workflows are implemented in the project

  • Analyzes test data requirements and collaborates with Test Data Support team to create test data when needed

  • Reviews requirements for testability, ambiguity, or redundancy

  • Ensures traceability matrices are available

  • Communicates the progress and status of testing

  • Identifies testing risks and provides a risk mitigation plan to minimize, if not eliminate, the risks

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

  • 7 years of formal Quality Assurance experience

  • Knowledge of Test case scripting and manual testing along with HPQC tool knowledge

  • Knowledge of SAP HCM module helpful

  • Knowledge of airline industry desirable

  • Available onsite at Atlanta

  • Test case scripting and testing

  • 40 % Time for the Test Engineer and 10% time for the QA Lead

  • Extensive experience in implementing QA standards, procedures and controls
