Inbound Logistics Analyst JobJob Number: 1029104Location: Auburn Hills, MIDate Posted: 8-11-2017The Inbound Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing the inbound logistics supply chain for assigned assembly plants in the FCA North American network. The Logistics Analyst works closely with internal and external transportation suppliers and assigned plants ensuring timely delivery of parts to FCA facilities balancing end user requests, competitive cost, and service provider performance. The Logistics Analyst acts as the liaison between the inbound logistics department, assembly and manufacturing plant MLM personnel, lead logistics providers, transportation providers, other FCA supply chain departments and the FCA supplier network. Logistics Analysts are responsible to develop cost forecasts for assigned plants, examine and explain variances between the forecasts and the actual results. Analysts are expected to visit their assigned plants, and work on waste elimination with MLM and WCM personnelBasic Qualifications:•Bachelor degree required•5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or related field•Strong computer skills; ability to navigate through various systems•Problem solving and analytical ability•Strong verbal and written presentation skills•Ability to create PowerPoint presentationsPreferred Qualifications:•Focus areas in supply chain management, MLM, finance, purchasing•Exposure to WCM•Financial acumen- cost variance walks, forecasting•Presentation skillsFCA US is proud to extend to its employees a compensation and benefits package that is designed to retain their talent and to motivate and reward job performance.
