Responsibilities

This position is responsible for all data entry and maintaining of the Foundation's databases including but not limited to the Raiser's Edge system. Must maintain and update the Foundations computer systems. Conduct surveys and improve donor relations through outreach and education. Assist the Development officers in managing the donor lists which includes the physician donor list. Develop a scanning system of the census so that development officers and administration can make calls on patients to assist the Grateful patient program. Assist in maintaining the Foundation "dashboard" to show year to date numbers from finance.

Qualifications

EducationHigh school graduate required.Post high school, technical school or college preparation preferred.ExperienceFive years work experience required three of which have been in an extensive microcomputer environment, including production of high level documents and dynamic databases.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrates a high degree of accountability and confidentiality.Must be able to type 55 wpm.Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks and problem solve.Demonstrates the ability to interact well with others, including the public, donors, community leaders, board members, other departments.Must have excellent computer and database skills. Must be able to use database software.Must have knowledge of University Hospital, the Foundation development policies, procedures, operations, and databases.Physical DemandsAbility to move throughout the office to accomplish duties. Visual ability to read records and computer terminals. Manual dexterity to enter data into and retrieve data from computer. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move moderately heavy objects (e.g. boxes of paper, manuals, boxes of supplies, and light equipment).
