CSRA is activity recruiting to support Hosting, Operations and Maintenance (HOM) services for HIGLAS. This effort includes developing and maintaining a secure and certified architecture to support e- Government initiatives; minimize the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) security risk and enhance the protection of privacy and security of data; and improve the CMS’ ability to accommodate the growing workload.
Provides for customization of the ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow.
Collaborates effectively with ServiceNow users and CMS Stakeholders to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
Identifies system deficiencies and recommend solutions and ensures that the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations.
Maintains the procedures document to identify improvements of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools and ensure that the tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
Participates in ongoing production support and end user support.
Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years
BS or equivalent + 5 yrs related experience, or MS + 3 yrs related experience
Hands on experience with implementing Incident, Change management, Asset, Problem and Knowledge Base modules
Hands on experience with ServiceNow to ServiceNow integration using web services
Hands on experience with Security/User/Group/Roles administration
Hands on experience supporting a production client on the Istanbul release of ServiceNow
Experience interfacing with ServiceNow vendor for support
Ability to communicate what products support and doesn’t support
Experience with ITIL v3, specifically Service Operation stage and have they taken the Foundations course
Any experience conducting requirement gathering sessions to help identify and define business needs for ServiceNow users
Experience in configuring automatic alerts/notifications
