National Marketing Communications Manager - SMB This national-based marketing communications position provides a dynamic opportunity to work closely with colleagues in sales, technical, product management, and national events to drive highly-targeted engagements that will influence the sales pipeline. This role will lead the marketing strategy for our Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment. The SMB segment at Microsoft is at the leading edge of our transformation. It has been a tremendous growth engine for the company, driven by exponential growth in Cloud as well as continued momentum in the traditional on-prem business. Responsibilities include: - Business owner for the SMB National Program. Leads the strategy, building an end-to-end view of the plan and reporting on progress towards planned outcomes across multiple stakeholders. - Drives scale through others, lead vTeam to deliver execution against program goals working in collaboration across stakeholders (CMO, Field Mktg, BGs, Inside Sales, Services, Worldwide, OCP and others). -Develop and execute an account-based marketing approach for accounts in our SMB segment to land all four sales plays (Modern Workplace, Business Applications, Infrastructure & Cloud and Data & AI) within our SMB targeted accounts through standard engines and scaled programs. - Identify, expand, and engage the Buying Committee members with 100% of agreed marketing led-account list -Review scorecard forecast and pipeline health to direct and adjust marketing execution for optimized performance - Leads process to adjust plans. Develop and champion a point of view based on customer feedback, market trends, business insights and the performance of program levers (demand gen, NSAT etc.). Requirements - Successful candidates will have a minimum of 10 years marketing experience - BS/BA degree (or 6 years additional work experience). MBA is a plus. - Experience marketing to small, medium accounts using modern marketing tools and account based marketing principles is desired. This position requires demonstrating adaptability, effective collaboration skills, customer obsession, drive for results, key insights that link marketing execution to business outcomes, and ability to learn/share the value proposition of Microsoft's technical solutions.
