This position is responsible to diagnose issues, adjust, repair, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


Need proper tools (air hand, electrical, torque, etc. Minimum of $1,5000.00 job related not counting tool boxes) to do quality job. Possess basic mechanical aptitude. Minimum of 1 year vocational technical experience, or 2 years of work experience in general mechanical duties as rated by Shop Manager. Be able to use manual to complete assigned jobs.


Must have full use of hands and arms, repetitive motion of hands, standing for long periods of time, good hand eye coordination, pulling, pushing, bending, walking, reaching, gripping, squatting, lifting.
