Rush University Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and collaborative*_Project Manager, Faculty Recruitment Sourcing_*! **

Position Highlights:

The Project Manager, Faculty Recruitment Sourcing Specialist plans, coordinates, implements and organizes all aspects of sourcing qualified physician candidates for Rush University Medical Center. The positon supports the faculty recruiters including logistics of the recruitment process to result in the successful placement and transition of faculty candidates for the organization. Project manager will coordinate activities with the Manager of Physician Recruitment to assure program continuity, budget oversight and effective system operation. Provide sourcing/marketing project related support to Associate Vice President, Faculty Recruitment and the recruitment team including advertisement drafting and placement, create marketing plan for searches of variety of specialties, management of marketing plans and initial screening of candidates.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with recruiters to identify qualified candidates including but not limited to: drafting advertisements, developing a recruitment strategy/marketing campaign, implementation and management of marketing campaigns, responding and screening candidate inquiries, contacting and discussing opportunities, candidate qualifications and best clinic/practice match; presenting candidate to recruiters.

  • Develop, plan, implement and manage all methods to generate candidates, including national/local/Internet advertising, direct mail, resident-related events and activities, marketing and promotional materials, and website development and maintenance. Develop and maintain the provider on-line application system and process.

  • Participate and represent the recruitment team at 3-4 job fairs per year. Identify and develop appropriate marketing materials for job fairs/exhibit functions. Manage follow up communication with job fair attendees and introduce to appropriate recruiter. Manage job fair attendee CV/contact information in faculty recruitment database.

  • Maintain an accurate internal database of candidates. Database will include pertinent professional and personal information, source of lead, contact log, linkage to potential openings, and tracking for continued follow-up.

  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing Department for ad templates and other template tools for sourcing strategy. Insert site/specialty information into templates to create marketing piece.

  • Manage Faculty Recruitment website including content updates, advertisements and increasing traffic.

  • Manage all sourcing contracts used to identify candidates including but not limited to: PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, HealtheCareers etc. Manage and utilize statistics from sources to give recommendations on yearly contracts.

  • Identify sourcing opportunities for increasing diversity among candidate pools and physician hires.

  • Develop, implement and oversee strategies for targeting and engaging with local physicians to discuss ambulatory recruitment efforts at new offsite locations. Discuss ambulatory plans with interested candidates and present candidate to recruiters.

  • Provide reports and statistical data on sourcing, candidate activity as needed.

Position Qualifications Include:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree, required 5-7 years related experience, or equivalent thereof.

  • Previous healthcare, sales, marketing, or recruiting background is preferred with specific knowledge of the medical/physician community.

  • Previous project management experience 3-5 years

  • Superior marketing and public relations skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally to present practice opportunities in a positive manner.

  • Ability to multi-task, planning and prioritizing a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, set priorities, and follow through to accomplish results.

  • Strong computer technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
