In addition, Koch Fertilizer, LLC owns storage and terminal assets in northwest Europe with trading offices in Switzerland, France and United Kingdom.A Day In The Life Typically Includes:The successful candidate will be a part of the Engineering & Reliability Team and be responsible for projects ranging from small (<$100K) to multiple million dollars. They will have responsibilities through the entire project life cycle, from conceptual development to owner hand-off, including:Project development and engineering design oversightInteraction with stakeholders and end-usersSchedule developmentFunding approval and cost trackingManagement of change and pre-startup safety reviewExecution oversight and start-up assistanceEnsure the project is performed safely and in full compliance with all laws and that it meets defined objectives for production, cost, reliability, and schedule performanceWhat You Will Need:Basic Qualifications:2+ years project engineering or management experience in thechemical plant or refining industryAbility to work in an integrated capital project environmentAbility to work nights and weekend as neededExcellent organizational and communications skillsAbility to evaluate and identify project needs and opportunities and work independently to achieve goalsBachelors Degree in Engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experienceWhat Will Put You Ahead?Preferred Qualifications:5+ years project engineering or management experience in thechemical plant orrefining industryKnowledge of typical process industry standards, codes, and best practicesExperience in fertilizer industryGood understanding of process instrumentation and process controlConstruction management experienceExperience with project economic analysisExperience with piping, valves, and fitting system revisionsPMP certificationPhysical RequirementsMust be able to enter an operating plant to access and inspect equipment.
