Responsibilities

Mercy Hospital Folsom , a member of Dignity Health, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to add to their hospital staff. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing direction, clinical supervision of patient care in the Family Birth Center. The person in this position should be a professional caregiver with requisite clinical and/or supervisory experience, which promotes an atmosphere that is responsive to the needs of patients, nursing and medical staff. The Clinical Coordinator is knowledgeable about and promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the department and Dignity Health.

This position shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy Hospital of Folsom and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborn care.

  • Team leader/supervisory experience is required.

  • Fetal monitoring experience required.

  • Candidates must have a Current California RN License, NRP Certification, BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.

  • Other certifications may be required.
