The Army Recreation Machine Program (ARMP) operates under the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) G-9, U.S. Army in support of military personnel and civilians, as well as family members and authorized guests. Better known as ARMP, our organization is dedicated to providing support to America's service personnel throughout the world. With sites in nine (9) countries, we serve MWR Worldwide.


Serves as the Chief Accounting Officer and primary advisor to the ARMP General Manager. Responsible for all finance and accounting operations in support of plans, programs and activities of a geographically dispersed organization. Provides technical guidance and executive direction on financial management and accounting operations. Establishes and implements accounting policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory guidance. Reviews and implements the changes to both the automated accounting system and the Internal Control Program, and applicable operating procedures.

** Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 30 August 1993.

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level. Must upload transcripts.

Supervisory experience that demonstrates the ability to plan and organize work, analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and instruct and guide other accountants in implementing required solutions. Successful completion of a full 4 year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree that includes 24 semester hours in accounting/auditing; Or Four years combination of education and experience in accounting or auditing. The quality of the experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the professional knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the caliber of duties described above, and is comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of a full 4-year course of study with a major in Accounting or Auditing. Preferred are those candidates who have a working knowledge of industry specific reporting requirements/ pronouncements of the Financial Accounting Standard Board (FAS).
