Kforce Support Center Analyst in Ft. Worth, Texas

Kforce has a client in Fort Worth, Texas (TX), seeking a Support Center Analyst for a contract opportunity.Responsibilities:

  • Assess problem or request and make reasonable effort to resolve during initial call

  • If necessary, assign follow-up support call to appropriate IT staff member

  • Enter call in Help Desk database and track progress of call until it is successfully closed

  • Maintain communication between end users and IT staff assigned to call

  • Use remote control software to train users and resolve PC problems

  • Reset user passwords and locked accounts

  • Coordinate external technicians (printer hardware, etc.) in response to support calls

  • High School diploma or GED/equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3 years or more of IT support

  • Oil/gas experience preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving PC problems over telephone

  • Extensive knowledge of desktop/network operations including MS Windows 7, 8 and 10

  • Knowledge and practical experience in supporting mainstream software applications such as MS Office, Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, and databases in general

  • Hands on experience in user account administration and security, as well as network printer administration

  • Positive and professional customer service, attitude and demeanor a must

  • Computer Applications: BMC ITSM, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suites, SharePoint, AS/400, Lotus Notes
