Kforce Finance Operations and Planning Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana

A Kforce client is seeking a Finance Operations and Planning Manage in Indianapolis, IN. The client is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst to work with the Competency Center Leadership Team, in the delivery and support of a best in class financial reporting, planning and forecasting EPM tool. The Operations Finance Analyst will serve as the first point of contact for producing Enterprise and Platform specific financial reports, addressing ad-hoc reporting requests and resolving reporting related issues, as well as working with the business on Operations Finance forecasts. This individual will partner with the Corporate FP&A and Platform Finance Teams to develop, evolve and administrate the EPM Enterprise and Platform reporting suite. This is a highly visible role, presenting a unique opportunity to design the future state processes that will be integral to reaching stated objective of growing from an $11B to a $15B enterprise by mid-decade. Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and document business requirements and assess current Operations Finance reporting and planning capabilities within the organization, including key components of financial processes

  • Work with business users to design reports with the foundation of standard metrics to be deployed within Hyperion reporting toolsets, as well as develop driver-based planning and forecasting processes to be deployed within Hyperion Planning to support rolling quarterly forecasts

  • Set up and maintain the Requirements Inventory (RICEFW) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) for all design components to be leveraged throughout the design, build, test, and deployment phases of the project

  • Partner with Hyperion development teams to ensure the business design requirements are adhered to in the IT solution developed

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Finance environment, with strong Operations Finance perspective, and understanding of FP&A & Commercial Finance activities

  • Articulate and effective communication skills with an appreciation for cultural dynamics

  • Ability to travel up to 25-45% based on EPM deployment project and CC needs; acknowledging that travel needs will vary based on program phases
