International Paper Distribution Spotter - Night Shift in KENTON CUP PLANT, Ohio

Pay Rate: $15.83 - $18.08/hr. + $0.40/hr. shift differential
Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (either C or D shift)
Drive empty and loaded trailers to/from one plant location to another. Maintain oil and fuel levels on trucks. Operate clamp truck to load, unload, store, and transport material, product, and supplies. Load and unload trailers by hand as needed. In addition, perform and complete other work as assigned by supervisor. All employees must follow all International Paper safety procedures and policies.
Spot full and empty trailers: Receive notice from warehouse of what trailers are needed and bring them to the specified area. As trailers are loaded, at Distribution and Warehouse, move them to the plant. As trailers are loaded at the plant, move them to the appropriate warehouse. Move empty trailers to the plant, Distribution, and Warehouse as needed.
Load trucks: Use picking list to determine what items need to be loaded together. Remove product from bay area and RF the product movement. Use a clamp truck to load the product.
Unload trucks: Unload incoming trailers. RF product and verify with its bill that the proper amount has been delivered. Place the product in the designated area. Do this for all incoming deliveries including loop trailers.
Organize warehouse: Keep assigned area clean and organized. Ensure that proper product is in designated area.
Truck maintenance: Check oil and fuel levels, tires, etc. Keep the trucks clean and fill fluids as needed.
Safety Check clamp truck: Using given checklist, inspect the clamp truck prior to use. Check oil level and verify everything is working properly. Return marked Safety Checklist to supervisor. Record any discovered problems. If a safety problem is discovered, tag the machine as needing maintenance and notify supervisor.
Minimum Job Requirements: CDL license is required, as well as the ability to occasionally and safely lift up to approx. 70lbs, as well as completion of the powered industrial truck training course. Work requires frequent lifting, carrying, reaching at all levels.
Occasionally = 1-33% Frequently = 34-66% Continuously = 67-100%
Occasionally: Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, lifting and carrying cases of approximately 54 – 70 lbs., reaching at all levels, use of tools (ie: hand tools and RF scanner), working rapidly for long periods.
Frequently: Sitting, climbing (in and out of truck), use of keyboards (ie: computer and RF unit), working under time pressure.
Safe driving record
Previous driving experience highly desirable
Ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of the RF system highly desirable
Must complete powered industrial truck training (to be provided within the department)
WORK DEVICE, Tools and Equipment:
Semi tractor/trailer, clamp truck, boxes, RF system, Pallets, Paper rolls.
On-the-job training provided by a designated trainer.
Supervision received from Group Leader and Shift Manager.
TIME OF OPERATION:
12 hour shifts, working alternately (36) and (48) hour weeks with four (18) minute breaks and one (20) minute lunch
