Leads the Laundry staff to ensure guest’s linens are cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner and in accordance with cleanliness standards. Ensures the laundry area is kept cleaned and organized.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Monitor Laundry staff to ensure they are completing assignments/task as needed

  • Handle linens and towels in accordance with quality and safety standards

  • Washes, folds and storage linen according to the property standards

  • Assist with stripping linens and gathering towels from areas

  • Prepare room packages to include the proper linens, towels, and toiletries

  • Inventory control and count of all HSKP supplies: linen, chemicals, unit items, paper supplies, etc.

  • Ensure linens from contract company are delivered in accordance to daily requirements, and notify management if issues arises

  • Treatment of stained linens according to process and schedule

  • Communicates with Manager or Supervisor if there are any discrepancies with the staff completing assigned tasks

  • Daily cleaning of equipment and work stations maintaining laundry area clean and Hskp. closets stocked

  • Daily/monthly tracking on chemicals for the equipment

  • Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed


Education:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:Previous laundry experience, good understanding of Inventory control

Computer Skills:N/A
