Join Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Store Engineering Department as a Delivery Driver where you will be responsible for the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of equipment/fixtures and materials from vendors and Kwik Trip retail locations. This person will also work in the Store Engineering Warehouse where he/she will:

  • Load and unload warehouse supplies and equipment

  • Verify purchase order requests and track warehouse inventory items

  • Operate forklifts and comply with all OSHA and DOT safety requirements

  • Maintain log books and vehicle inspection reports

  • Work closely with several Kwik Trip Departments

  • Assist with the organization and upkeep of the Store Engineering Warehouse.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL with a good driving record; prior commercial driving experience. Candidates should also possess the following: knowledge of vehicle maintenance and operation to identify and diagnose potential mechanical challenges; ability to operate a piggyback lift to load/unload trucks; familiarity with the surrounding area to facilitate timely pick-ups and deliveries; demonstrate a high level of customer service as this person has primary interaction with retail locations; demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; understand and accurately complete invoice paperwork; self-motivated; team player; willingness to learn/perform a variety of job tasks; ability to exercise sound judgment within company guidelines; work with minimal supervision; work in a fast- paced safety conscious environment; willingness to work in all temperature conditions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to operate a personal computer; knowledge of or ability to learn Maximo. Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus.

Physical qualifications: Sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 2 hours at a time; bend/reach/twist/stoop/squat frequently; lift up to 75 pounds to waist level occasionally; lift up to 70 pounds to 60 inches occasionally; lift up to 40 pounds to 72 inches frequently; carry 90 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.

Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, daytime hours; however, it may include occasional evenings and weekends. It may also include occasional overnight stays.
