The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for delivering world class customer service to customers, achieving on time deliveries, eliminating out of stocks and minimizing freight and storage costs. The incumbent will work with all domestic and global customers, facilities and partners to ensure raw materials and finished products are transported safely and efficiently, balancing costs and service levels and maintaining compliance with government regulations. This role will also support and implement programs and processes that will generate actual and administrative cost savings including the execution of transportation bids, fleet expansion and identifying opportunities to optimize current processes and eliminate waste. The successful candidate will support the development of logistics policies and procedures to be used across all Sazerac facilities and develop tracking to ensure they are being adhered to.

  • Bachelor's Degree: Must

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation: Must

  • Master's degree: Preferred

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation: Preferred

  • Willingness to travel.: Must

  • Strong detail orientation: Must

  • Strong planning and organizational skills: Must

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time: Must

  • Expertise in process redesign: Must

  • Ability to work effectively across business units and through supplier partners: Must

  • Experience at driving change in an organisation: Must
