Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is currently seeking a Manager Subcontract Programs 2 to join our team in Melbourne, FL!
This role manages a segment of the E2D program through the direct supervision/management of the staff consisting managers from all GSC disciplines that support the E-2 IPT (Quality, Business Management, Sub Contracts, MRP, Goods Movement) and salaried exempt employees from all aforementioned GSC disciplines. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & policies. Program Manager responsibilities include: planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages on a large system production or development contract. Analyzes manufacturing, enterprise resource planning, and other material requirements based on needs of assembly demands, component replenishments, engineering changes and enterprise supplies. Resolves schedule, material requirement or business system problems with cross-functional representatives. Resolves master schedule and productions problems and negotiates lead times. Monitors supplier’s performance with regard to all of the above and works solutions to issues and reports status to the program. Maintains configuration management, coordinates supplier management with sub contracts and procurement to ensure a healthy shortage position is maintained, interface with Quality to monitor critical supplier management and develop plans to drive Critical shortages to zero.
Minimum of 5 years of Government, Military and/or Aerospace Industry Experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
Previous Management or Supervisory Experience
Program Management and Supply Chain Experience
Government Contracting Experience
