The position is responsible for generating domestic sales for our Power Cycling and Test Systems product line.
AeroVironment is the standard for battery pack test equipment.
Since AeroVironment’s development of the GM Impact, prototype for the first modern electric car, AeroVironment has supplied Power Cycling and Test Systems to the world’s leading automotive, battery and fuel cell companies, utilities, universities, defense contractors, and government agencies. These customers recognize the high-current/high power capability, comprehensive operating envelope, and reliability of our solutions.
AeroVironment’s Power Cycling and Test Systems are used for a wide range of testing, charging and development activities associated with advanced batteries, fuel cells, ultra capacitors, hybrid energy systems, motors, generators, uninterruptible power systems, and powertrain components.
Duties of position include:
Responsible for obtaining revenue targets in North America (U.S. and Canada)
Obtain new direct customers and manage existing direct customers
Follow-up with sales leads by performing initial contact with potential customers.
Create a sales partner channel.
Perform research to gather contact information for potential customers.
Attend tradeshows and follow-up on leads in a timely manner.
