Robert Half Finance is searching for an energetic Controller to join a reputable services company. The leadership position is responsible for a small accounting and clerical department. The Controller plans and directs all accounting operational functions, handles the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluates accounting and internal control systems, and leads departmental staff. The Controller position is a full-time opportunity in the Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina region. Key responsibilities - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis - Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals - Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Handle monthly and yearly close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Collaborate with COO, executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques - Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners Email for details: Bryan.Thierfelder@roberthalf.com, Jerome.Johnson@roberthalf.com, Chad.Thomas@roberthalf.com, Victoria.Dawkins@roberthalf.com
