Kforce has a client in New York, New York (NY) with an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Associate Director, Population Health IT Solutions and Strategies.Overview:This organization is expanding its Clinical Integrated Network. The goal is to provide patient-centered high quality care that is coordinated and efficient. Over the next year, the focus will be related growth of their network, clinical performance, productivity, space management, patient satisfaction, and managing transitions of care. The company's mission is to improve healthcare delivery and quality by bringing critical information to care providers at the point of care. The Director will report directly to the Senior Director of IT Clinical Affairs with dotted line to business report to Executive Director of the Company's UPN CIN. This position will be responsible for the technology strategy and implementation of IT systems to meet firm's objectives.Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops appropriate databases, tools and reports to help monitor performance; this involves developing a strategy to harvest data from a variety of key data stores such as Epic, private physician EMRs, and government sources, in order to create robust and cohesive dashboards and analytics; this will also require collaboration with stakeholders such as Managed Care, Finance, Strategic Planning, Clinical Quality, RHIO (Healthix) and others

  • Develop and implement analytic tools to support population management including disease registries

  • Works to provide proper data governance so the captured data can be properly used and mined for analytics

  • Monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budget; and reports operational performance

  • Support IT requirement for research on delivery system redesign and comparative effectiveness in collaboration with the Department of Population Health

  • Leads HIE board meetings and steering committee meetings, and creates and empowers relevant subcommittees

  • To qualify, must have a baccalaureate degree and no less than seven years' experience in health administration or related field; an advanced degree is preferred (MBA, MPP, MD, MPH, JD, etc.)

  • Must be a strategic thinker and seasoned administrator with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in the areas of operations and business planning

  • Successful candidates should demonstrate a deep interest in health innovation, possess excellent communication skills, and effectively represent the organization to diverse constituencies

  • Must have excellent business analysis skills to translate clinical workflows and operations into detailed IT requirements

  • Must have a good working knowledge of technology and be able to oversee the operations of an electronic health exchange
