Handle advanced advertising budgeting and financial ROI of data platform investments. Perform digital ad serving impression analytics and costing across digital websites and corresponding network finance teams. Analyze budgeting for sales research organization across syndicated tools, effectiveness research, and insight deliverables. Perform financial planning for new business initiatives, investments, and third party partnerships. Provide leadership for compensation and headcount planning, including tracking, benchmarking, and analytics. Develop and own staffing efficiency metrics and provide analysis to senior leadership regarding organizational structure effectiveness. Participate in monthly and quarterly financial close processes through accurate financial statement preparation and pacing updates, variance analysis, standard reporting packages, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Help with all aspects of the organization’s financial closes, including the preparation and accuracy of the financial statements and related reporting requirements. Assist with the development and preparation of the annual business plan and presentation to senior management. Partner with department leaders to develop annual expense budgets and collaborate on operational analysis to drive process improvements and growth.
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field, and four (4) years of related experience is required.
The position requires four (4) years of experience with each of the following:
- corporate compensation in an advertising sales environment for a media company
- analyzing sales incentive compensation with a media and entertainment company
- using SAP HR/ SAP HCM
- performing staffing efficiency metrics
- planning around potential new internal and external investments
- building complex financial models, including pivot tables, V look-ups, H look-ups, SUM ifs, arrays, and automation of link updates using Excel
- forecasting financial impact from business reorganizations
Two (2) years of experience creating decks in PowerPoint and presenting to executive leadership.
