The Global Digital Payments Product team within Amex Digital Labs is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to lead and own digital payments initiatives. As online commerce continues to rapidly expand and diversify, the Global Digital Payments Product team is focused on concepting, developing, and delivering unique and innovative payment experiences to Card Members. The person taking this role will define product features, shape the customer experience, partner with engineering to articulate and deliver requirements, lead testing and evolve the product backlog. The Manager / Sr. Manager will be the product owner for both internal and external audiences - acting as the main point of contact with any partner product teams.
Primary responsibilities: * Define new product features, scope, and functionality * Partner with internal and external stakeholders to bring product concepts to market * Shepherd product through the development process, advocating to achieve the best outcomes * Lead the partnership with technologies to define user stories, guide product definition, and lead testing * Launch and manage the product and features upon release to Card Members * Obtain feedback on the product to iterate and drive improvements in future releases * Define the product roadmap and prioritize feature set * Lead external ongoing communications with merchants and partners * Maintain pulse on external mobile developments and internal product development to assess implications for our products Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
