American Express Sr. Analyst - Digital Marketing and Operations in New York, New York
The Digital Content and Operations team within GMO (Global Marketing Operations) at American Express is responsible for empowering internal marketing teams to effectively leverage our Cardmember targeting capabilities to personalize relevant and valuable offers on AmericanExpress.com. The team is responsible for managing and streamlining the processes required to launch these campaigns, as well as consulting and sharing best practices with marketing teams to improve campaign performance.
This role provides a great opportunity to work in an exciting and growing area of digital marketing in American Express.
The role will include the following: · Manage day-to-day operations for the Personalization marketing channel including o Set-up, manage, and launch content submissions on AmericanExpress.com o Manage partner communications and expectations throughout the pre- to post-launch phases o Provide support to marketing partners including tracking and resolution of general inquiries and troubleshooting o Enforce governance guidelines across all offer requests and track team KPIs · Evaluate campaigns and provide targeting and testing consultation to improve performance · Assist product team with feature specification documentation and troubleshooting · Conduct data quality and process audits to minimize compliance-related risks
- At least 1-3 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent organizational and project management skills (attention to detail, project management, handling multiple priorities, managing tight timelines) are critical.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Customer focused – previous experience launching public facing marketing material
- Process oriented – enjoys finding ways to streamline and optimize the status quo
- High energy, enthusiastic and eager to be successful
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and/or additional web technologies is a plus
