Lehigh Hanson is looking for a Sr. Sales Representative who will produce results by establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors, customers, and state/county/city public works department’s personnel for the purpose of selling aggregates within the Southern NJ and Philadelphia market area while focusing on growing existing and prospective customers to increase market share and improving profit margins.

This position will reside in Newport, NJ.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Act as liaison between customer and company,

  • Increase average selling price each year,

  • Increase market share each year,

  • Gather market information for management decisions,

  • Daily visits and communication with customers,

  • Quote projects and customers in writing as required,

  • Assisting Sales Manager in administrative duties,

  • Responsible for month-end reports,

  • Responsible for updated market analysis in area of responsibility.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred) or the equivalent in relevant work experience

  • 5 years’ experience in aggregates/building materials,

  • 5-7 years sales experience,

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

  • Excellent organization and time management skills,

  • Ability to work in a corporate-structured environment,

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers,

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite along with other computer programs

  • Must have a valid drivers’ license
