Job Description

Software Engineer for product development in the area of:

  • Instrumentation & Infotainment electronics (digital displays, headunits)

  • Connectivity electronics

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Write and maintain software requirements specification documents

  • Specify or modify software architectures

  • Design and program embedded software modules

  • Design and program graphics & animations for digital displaysand headunits

  • Integrate and configure interfaces to consumer electronics and Smartphoneapplications

  • Configure and integrate basic AUTOSAR software modules (e.g. OperatingSystem, CAN stack, CCP, etc…)

  • Maintain software designs in configuration & version managementtools

  • Test software functions,modules and integrations

  • Validate software requirements

  • Coordinate with project team and software suppliers throughout theproject lifecycle from concept phase through product release

  • Communicate project status, analysis and test results to projectteam and management

  • Utilize current software process through design cycle

Qualifications

Required

  • BSin computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering

  • 0-2 years of industry experience

Preferred

  • Fluency in C/C++

  • Industry experience through internships or as software engineer

  • Strong understanding of embedded systems

  • Strong interest in automotive systems

  • Excellent communications skills and team collaboration

  • Familiarity with communication protocols such CAN, Bluetooth, WiFiand Ethernet

  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink or graphical specification tools

  • Basic understanding agile development methods
