Kforce Application Developer in Orlando, Florida

Kforce has a client that is currently seeking an Application Front End Developer to join a large organization in the Orlando, Florida (FL) area.Summary:The candidate will work with the business to gather requirements for Direct Marketing efforts and develops custom Contact Management System (CMS) scripts. This Application Development Specialist contributes to efforts of designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. This individual will also assist in handle script versioning and deployment as well as verify proper backups to ensure smooth operations.Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of CMS application development life cycle including functional analysis development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support

  • Maintain and develop Contact Management System (CMS) scripts and logic for Direct Marketing

  • Investigate and pioneer new CMS scripting functionality for new features and enhancements

  • Optimize and fine tune CMS scripting for maximum performance, speed, and stability

  • Maintain script version, backups and deployments

  • Create, manage, and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting

  • Listen, analyze, and understand Direct Marketing business and their CMS needs and direction across multiple departments

  • Actively participate with the technical and program management teams during project planning phases in requirements decomposition, task estimation, and milestone definition

  • Identify problems in departmental processes and perform research necessary to fix them

  • Assist in automating all other manual inefficient processes in Direct Marketing

  • Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

  • Must have 2 years of experience with Visual Studio Pro, HTML5, CSS3, and ASP.NET C#

  • Must be proficient with JavaScript, XML, and JSON Web services

  • Strong general PC skills, some network/server experience required
