The Office of Student Services is looking for a friendly people person to greet guests at the front desk of the office. Some daily tasks include answering phones, doing general office jobs, maintaining bulletin boards around campus, deliveries, filing/shredding, and working on various projects as needed to assist office staff. Looking for a student with strong oral and written communication skills, and who is familiar with computers, specifically basic word processing programs and PowerPoint. Prior office experience is a plus but not required.
Must be personable, dependable and demonstrate professionalism. Ability to communicate effectively on the phone or in person; good computer and organizational skills; attention to detail; work approximately 10 hours a week; maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Child Protection Clearances
The following PA Act 153 clearances and background checks may be required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
