Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

The SharePoint Designer/Developer will provide configuration support of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2010 and SharePoint Server 2013 site collections, sites, list, document libraries and other customized features. Build SharePoint solutions using SharePoint designer and JavaScript or ASP.NET when requirements merit custom code. Work with business analysts and clients to gather requirements and work towards efficient SharePoint solutions. The solutions developed will involve using out-of-the-box SharePoint features, designing solutions that extend SharePoint and office platforms via customizations.

Additional responsibilities will include:

· Create and maintain site collections

· Perform site collection administrative duties to include advanced permissions

· Create and maintain lists, document libraries, and other customizations

· Create and maintain custom content types

· Create custom forms

· Document and execute test plans, as needed

· Manage enterprise content, security, and governance for SharePoint

· Advise, guide, and support the SharePoint Team Lead

· Advise, guide, and provide support to key stakeholders and customers, as needed

· Define and implement configuration standards including metadata tagging

· Design/Develop custom master pages, themes, and templates

· Complete tickets as level 2 support for all SharePoint applications

Required Qualifications: Top Secret clearance must be current

· A solid working knowledge of programming fundamentals including data structures, design patterns and common algorithms.

· Working knowledge of CSS, HTML, .NET, and JavaScript

· Excellent working knowledge of SharePoint Designer 2010 and 2013

· Experience with the configuration and settings for OOB SharePoint webparts

· Experience creating custom forms using InfoPath

· Experience with Collaborative Markup Language (CAML)

· Experience integrating Active Directory with SharePoint solutions and the interoperability of SharePoint and other Office products

· Experience with and regular use of SVN or similar source control systems

· Experience with graphic and UI design

· Experience gathering, defining and documenting requirements

· Excellent written and verbal communications

· Self-starter the requires minimal supervision

· Typically requires bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experience.

· Two to four years experience with MOSS 2010, preferably building out sites with custom SharePoint workflows, list, libraries, and custom SharePoint forms utilizing "Out of the Box" SharePoint features.

Desired Qualifications:

· Working knowledge of XSLT, XML, and jQuery and how it relates to SharePoint specifically when it comes to Item Styles and Data Views

· Ability to analyze, design and develop discrete workflows using Windows Workflow Foundation

· Working knowledge of MSSQL Business Intelligence solution technologies

· Working knowledge of Silverlight development

· Working knowledge of SharePoint Development Kit

· Working knowledge of SharePoint Governance and Analytics

· Working knowledge of Visual Studio, SharePoint Object Model, Web Services, Microsoft SQL

· Demonstrated use of quality software development practices, such as easy-to-understand documentation, comments and code

· Microsoft Office 2010 Suite
