Kforce has a client seeking a Customer Support Engineer 4 in Redmond, Washington (WA).Summary: The Bot Framework team, part of the Artificial Intelligence & Research group is seeking skilled software developers to act as primary technical support for customers building bots with Bot Framework. Contract duration is three months, with potential for extension. The technical support team will be supporting both the Bot Framework and our Language Understanding products. Customer Support Engineers will work out of our Redmond office. They will have access to the Bot Framework and LUIS teams both to learn from, and to reach out to when support issues requires escalation. Hours are flexible.Solid writing skills are imperative as support will primarily take place over email, with additional support being provided via Stack Overflow, GitHub and over standard Azure support channels. Must be able to provide clear, concise feedback written in fluent, conversational English. Additionally, the Support Engineers will contribute to articles/blogs/FAQs and will be expected to produce code samples to directly address commonly arising problems. While English proficiency is required, we are keenly interested in candidates with equal skill in a second language (Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Russian).

  • Demonstrated fluency in Node and/or C# with basic knowledge of Azure Bot Service, and especially Azure Functions

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills, additional languages a plus

  • Ability to span multiple functions in any given day from technical troubleshooting with a customer to content documentation to writing code samples

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Great problem solver and troubleshooter with proven people skills who enjoys explaining solutions to others

  • Must be local; work-from-home not an option

To accompany application:

  • Writing sample that validates for hiring manager the candidate's ability to take a customer through steps required to solve a support issue

  • A simple bot in C# and/or Node that demonstrates an understanding of the Bot Framework, Azure Bot Service, or LUIS.AI

  • Experience with Node and JavaScript, Developing software

  • Putting together code samples

  • Looking for folks who are actual Engineers and can explain the entire process and fixes
