We build the next generation web portal for Microsoft Azure customers. It includes support for application and resource management, deployment, health monitoring, billing, and everything in between. It's a unified management experience targeted at every developer and IT professional that brings together diverse experiences like provisioning machines, deploying services, configuring applications, and monitoring performance in data centers around the globe.

The portal is extensible, and we deliver the experiences and services to support it with a framework and SDK used by partner teams to build an experience that is central to Azure's success. We iterate quickly and deploy to production every day.

We're looking for a developer with a passion for creating compelling web experiences with the latest technologies. We use HTML5, TypeScript, jQuery, Knockout.js, D3, LESS, ASP.NET MVC, Web Sockets, REST, Web Services, Git, Jenkins, and more!

Candidates must:

• Be creative and highly-motivated with a minimum 2 years' experience in web development

• Be productive and effective when working in a highly collaborative environment

• Embrace web technologies like HTTP/HTML/JavaScript/CSS, IIS, ASP.Net, Node.js, REST APIs

• Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent industry experience

Skills that are a plus:

• Proficiency building frameworks and solid API design skills

• A love for libraries and frameworks like jQuery, Knockout.js, and ASP.NET MVC

• Passion for languages and tools like TypeScript, ES6/ECMAScript 2015, and Promises

• Experience with technologies like Single Page Applications, JSON, AJAX, and Git

• Passion for testing; we use Jenkins, QUnit, and Selenium at cloud-scale

• Prior work experience with Azure, Cloud Services, and REST APIs

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of development experience
