The Engineering Intern will gain exposure to a wide range of real world engineering activities, documentation, and processes. You will also acquire critical insight into our company and our industry, as well as have the chance to develop valuable networking connections, which will help prepare and develop your skills for future career opportunities.

This role will provide assistance and support to the Engineering Department for various Water and Wastewater projects within SUEZ North America. Projects will include exposure to SUEZ products including physical-chemical separation, biological treatment, and overall systems integration. Work tasks include data sheet generation, equipment selection and evaluation, drawing markups / approvals, vendor coordination, material take-offs, and assisting with general engineering documentation. Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Windows OS

  • AutoCAD / SolidWorks is a plus

  • Ability to quickly learn and switch between different tasks

  • Detail oriented

  • Comfortable working in a multiple disciplinary team environment.

Required Experience

  • Students at a junior or senior level in an accredited Bachelor’s program in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering or similar technical program.
