The Phlebotomist I HTPN collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in Baylor Scott & White Health policies and procedures. The Phlebotomist I HTPN follow all established blood collection procedures, processes specimens as appropriate for test ordered, transports specimens, and performs clerical duties.
The ideal Phlebotomist I candidate is someone who is able to maintain effective communication with patients, staff and physicians; and ensure appropriate protocols with procedures and customer satisfaction.

• High School Diploma
• 3 months experience preferred
• Acceptable completion of internship in an approved Phlebotomy training program
