What You'll Do
Are you seeking a new position where you can use your content development and storytelling skills to promote innovative products that change the way people work? If so, we would love for you to consider this Content Marketing Manager position that supports our Collaboration products.
You'll help a cross-functional team to develop product messaging, positioning and strategy, to support the existing Collaboration product line along with upcoming launches.
You'll assist in the development of annual marketing objectives, create and execute marketing plans and deliver the go-to-market strategy.
You will work with Product Management to develop product positioning and messaging that aligns with the overall Collaboration architecture.
You'll support the project management of product launches including press releases, launch materials, customer presentations and sales training materials.
You will act as content provider and subject matter expert on new solutions, to support Field/Channel Enablement strategy, which may include the delivery of training. You will also educate and consult with Cisco field and partners on market strategies.
You'll identify market insertion points, competitive landscape, and penetration strategies for Cisco offerings. You will amplify Cisco's offerings in the most impactful way for the target audience.
You will orchestrate the marketing mix and marketing programs to generate awareness, pipeline, opportunity, and loyalty.
You'll report the measurement of the marketing campaigns, programs, projects, asset effectiveness and adoption, and required improvements.

We work closely with the Collaboration Business Unit and GTM teams to bring new innovative technology to market. We develop tools that directly impact the users' ability to be more productive, agile and stay better connected. We market an award-winning product portfolio and work with some of the industry's best designers, engineers, and product management teams. We are changing the way people work.
You are a marketing professional with a concentration on writing, content creation, and telling compelling narratives. You understand the power of storytelling rather than describing functions and features. You may have experience supporting B2B or B2C product marketing teams.
You have strong organizational skills and have excellent social skills. You have analytics skills to support the product strategy and positioning. You're a self-starter and can work with large cross-functional teams.
Minimum requirements for this positon are:
You have 4-5 years of marketing experience with excellent content development skills. You love storytelling.
You can share writing samples that demonstrate your capabilities and style.
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
You currently reside in the Raleigh-Durham area and are able to work at the Cisco campus in RTP.
Having a familiarity with voice and video product solutions is desired but not necessary.
