What You'll Do

You will be part of a world-class risk management program and contribute to making Cisco's supply chain resilient to all kinds of risks that may, if not mitigated, lead to disruptions. You will lead efforts to identify and mitigate sources of risks with cross-functional teams while crafting sustainable business process/tools to continuously and aggressively monitor risk. You will support commodity and manufacturing partner teams with the preparation and implementation of supplier and partner business continuity plans/strategy for identified high risk spend/revenue. You will help develop metrics that communicate cause/effect and lead to actionable progress in our risk management strategy.

Who You'll Work With

Our Supply Chain Risk Management team is entrusted with protecting and ensuring Supply Chain Operations is a role model for responsible business including ensuring operational resiliency, ethical sourcing, environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance. As an operationally focused risk specialist, you will closely partner with Corporate Risk Management, Global Manufacturing Operations, Global Supplier Management amongst others to ensure Supply Chain Operations adopts practical risk management and business resiliency practices.

Who You Are Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Business plus 2-3 years of Supply Chain operations in the manufacturing environment.

  • Programming Skills or Advanced Data Analytics skills with research background is required. Experience with process mapping/process improvement and a transformation mind-set.

  • Ability to lead by influence without direct reporting chain and advise executive decision makers.

  • Self-starter, proven ability to work independently on multiple projects and priorities at once.

  • Ability to think quickly, respond to changing demands, anticipate future problems, and recommend preventative courses of action.

  • Excellent communication, project management and metrics design skills.

  • Ability to craft presentations for diverse audiences and varying executive levels to support agile decision-making.
