Role Summary:

GE Water & Process Technologies has an immediate opening for a Pole Pricing Leader supporting North America. You will lead and manage the execution of price agreement renewals through the Price Agreement Tool ensuring adherence to Delegation of Authority, renewal guidelines, profitability and account expiration.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Pole Pricing Leader, you will:

  • Manage the execution of the price exception (PET) process ensuring adherence to the DOA

  • Assist commercial team with mid-term PO updates, sorting out price agreement delivery block issues, and providing guidance on a variety of other pricing issues

  • Train commercial team on pricing methodologies, best practices and process to renew agreements

  • Act as consultant to the regional executive and general managers on pricing decisions based on sound business case review including review and report out on profit position

  • Coordinate corporate account increases with customer service and the National or global account managers

  • Act as liaison for national / global corporate accounts with commercial team on pricing issues

  • Track price increase indices for contractual price increases

  • Serve as price coordinator for all price actions with customer service, CommOpps, Commercial teams and GenPACT

  • Understand market price and use as underlying basis for price decisions

  • Provide pricing from SAP, by product, to commercial team

  • Understand price structure in SAP including price conditions

  • Be responsible for monthly review and analysis during financial close

  • Implement non-price increases by customer by product / container

  • Troubleshoot the PAT, PET, PVE and SAP price issues

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance or Chemistry from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the water treatment field

  • Proficiency with PC applications used in the position including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Internet Explorer

  • Uses deductive reason in problem solving

  • Desire to drive price and profitability
