Job Title:Renewal Specialist

Location:Scottsdale, AZ/ Dallas, TX / Roswell, GA

Overview

JDA is searching for a Renewal Specialist to join our world class Customer Success organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual trained and focused on using proven negotiation skills to close all assigned renewal opportunities. The successful candidate will proactively contact current customers in an effort to successfully close all assigned renewals and upsell additional support offerings for both maintenance and cloud. The Renewal Specialists collaborate with Sales, Legal, Support and internal management to maximize renewal revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and bring to successful closure renewals for assigned customers.

  • Interact with sales and other internal groups to address renewal issues and general renewal matters for our customers.

  • Complete renewal lifecycle management including obtaining Purchase Orders when required

  • Analyze customer/product renewal data and current renewal agreement to determine retention and uplift strategy.

  • Improve retention and reduce attrition of assigned customers by promoting the value of retaining JDA support.

  • Develop compelling value propositions for use of JDA Cloud Services in conjunction with total solution ROI cost/benefit analysis.

  • Ensures all Cloud Services and Maintenance components of the renewals cycle are thoroughly planned, presented and delivered to the customer.

  • Utilizes a high-level knowledge of JDAs products & services, customer’s business requirements, and analysis of prior year activity.

  • Provide management reporting on renewals progress by accurately forecasting to management on a weekly basis.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant job experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor’s/4-year degree required

  • Experience negotiating contracts and working with Managed/Support Services contracts strongly preferred

  • Supply Chain experience preferred but not required.

  • Must have proven experience with accurate forecasting and achieving quota targets.

  • Must have excellent organization and time management skill.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment a must.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required

  • Salesforce or other CRM experience required.

  • Excellent communication skills a must.
