Responsibilities and Qualifications
The technician will be responsible for performing all of the duties assigned the Technician I position and bear the responsibility for more high-risk (from medical and legal perspectives) critical processes that, much of the time, will be done under only indirect supervision. He or she will need to have a thorough understanding of the processes occurring within the pharmacy department and policies governing those processes and be able to effectively teach others. He or she may also be given responsibility to develop, manage and oversee special projects to successful completion. Performs related duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent
Missouri Pharmacy Technician Registration Required or application submitted to Missouri Board of Pharmacy by first day of work.
Previous work experience as Pharmacy Technician required
National Certified Technician or become a nationally certified technician with 1 year of becoming a technician II.
