Data Device Corporation District Sales Manager in United States
Seeking a District Sales Manager to join our DDC team.
Manage a specific territory/district and sell DDC products with a synergistic approach
Collaborate with the core DDC sales channel to meet or exceed annual bookings goals set for the district territory
Establish and maintain a 4 month and 15 month forecast for territory through Sales Logix
Secure and win design-ins
Develop and implement account strategies
Develop, build, and manage customer relationships
Conduct in-territory sales calls
Travel to customers and representatives (if applicable) in respective territory
Follow up with all leads and inquiries
Submit quotes and negotiate purchase orders
Maintain product knowledge
Determine factory and application support needs
Maintain knowledge of customer programs, product and customer requirements, and organizational expertise
Provide Manufacturing and Marketing/Sales Management with customer feedback on DDC products as well as competitive products
Provide input for desired product roadmap based on market knowledge and customer feedback
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to grow and maintain relationships at all levels of key customer accounts
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex subject matter to customers and management
Educational / Experience Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of five years sales experience, some of which should be in the space industry
Experience in managing significant proposal efforts
Some management experience preferred
Strong leadership experience
Some experience managing manufacturers’ representatives a plus
