Description

In this role, you will be part of a team providing 24x7 support for a program with the U.S. Army that allows our Armed Forces to communicate effectively. This high priority position will give you the opportunity to provide IT support to troops while they are in the field and the command rooms. If you are looking for the opportunity to grow your skills in IT while having a positive impact on those you are serving, this is the perfect position for you.

Position Requirements

Required Skills and Education:- General Help Desk knowledge- Networking knowledge (Should know OSI model basic concepts)- Must be able to work a rotating shift (1st, 2nd, & 3rd shifts)- Ability to work with people via email or telephone and calmly extract knowledge of the issue to determine real root of problem- Very outgoing personality, must work well in a hardworking and busy team environment- Must be able to work with a very diverse teamPreferred Skills and Education:- Security Certification (Security+ or higher)- Cisco skill set is an advantage- Possession of Secret Clearance
