Kforce has a client that is searching for an IT Business Analyst in Walnut Creek, California (CA)Summary:The candidate will be responsible for Network Services Infrastructure and Performance Enterprise Telco Order Desk Business Analysis. The Company IT Network Services Infrastructure and Performance is seeking a Business Analysis for the Enterprise Circuit Order Desk whose primary responsibility is to support all the Company's Telecommunications circuit provisioning, inventory and delivery.Principle Responsibilities:Top Daily responsibilities:

  • Working with Vendors to resolve ordering and billing discrepancies

  • Coordinating with the team to improve the daily process for order documentation

  • Data entry into Tangoe and Remedy for circuit order activity

  • Interactions with internal employees requesting service

  • Interactions with external vendors and carriers to service to their clients

  • Back up for peers

Vendor Management:

  • Process company infrastructure circuit order requests through the Telecom Order Management System (TOM) to the appropriate vendor

  • Query vendors for pertinent order information for entry into TOM and feedback to the Network Engineer

  • Project Manager and Business Client

  • Attend and/or host weekly/biweekly meeting with the business partners and vendors to ensure order activity is on track for delivery

Project Coordination/Management:

  • Perform project coordination within the company with the vendors for successful project implementation

  • Manage Remedy queue to ensure all orders are reviewed and issued on time


  • Process incoming Remedy work orders and email requests from various clients within the company

  • Ensure all orders are processed and completed through the TOM system up to and including first month billing

  • Provides support and back up to the other Order Desk Team members and management

  • Coordinates with AP/Finance on any billing discrepancies with the vendors

  • B.A/B.S. degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5 years of professional experience in technology/local exchange carrier related environment

  • 3 years of solid customer service skills

  • Demonstrated professional oral and written communications skills

  • Collaboration and project coordination abilities

  • Knowledge of Telco circuits, Ethernet, SIP, VoIP, etc

  • Microsoft suite of products

  • Project management coordination
