About the Position:This position is under the supervision of the Army Supply Plan Team, Organic Industrial Base Directorate. The referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) in Warren, Troy, Southfield and/or Selfridge ANGB, Michigan. The ILSC is responsible for sustaining war fighting readiness and managing a large part of the Army's investment in war fighting capacity as integrators of nearly 3,000 weapon systems that form the core of the Army's war fighting capability.
TACOM is located in Southeastern Michigan, North of Detroit with nearby universities, world class museums, art galleries, concert halls, golf courses, and collegiate and professional athletic venues. Easy access to freeways, and close proximity to shopping, dining, and entertainment.

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist performing the following duties:
Collecting, analyzing, investigating and evaluating logistics data.
Coordinating with officials and counterparts of other functional areas and/or with supporting commands/agencies to ensure consistency of efforts.
Coordinating the efforts of functional specialist.
Participate in the development of Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM's).
Review analysis and planning documentation to ensure thoroughness of information provided and compliance with policy guidelines and planning parameters.
Represent assignments at conferences, meetings and work groups composed of functional representatives and managers.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Coordinating the efforts of functional specialists in areas such as data collection and analysis; Assisting in analyzing information drawn from Depot Material Requirement Planning (MRP); and utilizing logistics automation tools such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), I2Log, or FedMall.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade (or equivalent).
