Duties: Partner with business analayst, development operations, and product team for dependencies in order to ensure ‘In-Sprint’ automation. Participate in planning and meetings to understand requirements, define automation scope, and plan for the same. Partner with development to create Automation scripts, API mocking, service virtualization and testing, and data conditioning early in the sprint, ensuring quick turnaround in development. Develop automated test cases in LISA using Java scripting. Help with continuous integration processes and resolve failures within daily execution of automation suites. Demonstrate automated scripts to teams and product owners. Facilitate continuous integration for scenarios tagged as regression and establish automation code coverage. Analyze continuous integration failures and work with the development team to log defects as applicable. Attend daily scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog groom meetings. Identify and implement areas for improving efficiency, shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts. Accountable for the development of test project plans, test schedules, test plans, and detailed test cases as defined by the digital project lifecycle.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field plus 8 - 10 years of experience in Software Testing or API Automation, or related experience OR a Master’s degree or equivalent in any field plus four (4) years of experience in Software Testing or API Automation, or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with agile scrum methodology. Automation testing experience for middleware involving Rest, SOAP Web Services, Message Queues, JSON and Databases. Experience with Service virtualization and mocking using Lisa tool or Java programming. Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins. Knowledge of quality assurance principles, techniques and tools. Experience with test cycle management, defect management, and reporting using JIRA and ALM. Experience working with developers and product owners. Experience with core java. Knowledge of Jira for agile scrum dashboard, defect, and test script management and execution. Any amount of experience with the required skills is acceptable.
