HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Strategic Planner/Advisor to work out of their Abu Dhabi, UAE office.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following:
The Strategic Planner/Advisor will provide on-site assistance to the Commander of the UAE Chemical Defense Command, Commandant of the Chemical Defense School, and subordinate units with assessments of UAE capabilities to: respond to; plan for; and mitigate the effects of a WMD incident within UAE military doctrine and strategic guidance. The Strategic Planner/Advisor will also assist in the development, planning, and execution of CBRNE defense training and exercises.
Provide technical assistance to the Chemical Defense Commander and CBRNE First Responders School Commandant
Conduct and submit studies to improve the standards and level of professionalism of the Command’s Chemical Defense officers and staff
Conduct and submit studies to help develop the CBRN equipment used by the school and operational units
Conduct and submit research papers to amend and enhance the first response plans and capabilities of Chemical Defense units.
Submit a monthly study on the latest international CBRN developments, including accidents, the CBRN industrial base, innovative technologies, protective gear; and warning, detection, and decontamination, equipment.
Provide management and technical supervision for the development and delivery of a monthly memorandum/magazine on the latest international developments in the CBRNE field.
Participate in drafting doctrine for the Chemical Defense Command.
Evaluate UAE military doctrine, strategy, plans, and response capabilities to mitigate the effects of a WMD incident.
Determine the strategic and operational requirements to develop and execute UAE CBRNE defense plans and CBRN countermeasures
Coordinate and/or deliver lectures on CBRN topics
Serve as a CBRN subject matter expert
Act as an advisor to the Chemical Defense Command Commander, Deputy Commander, and Commandant of the Chemical Defense School
Present to the Chemical Defense Staff advice and recommendations on the tactical employment of CBRNE defense units
Assist with exercise development, planning, and execution for Chemical Defense Command and subordinate units.
Qualifications and Experience:
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum of fifteen years’ CBRNE or EOD Subject Matter Expert experience
Willing and able to reside overseas for a minimum of one year with morale trip to CONUS provided
Must meet overseas security and passport screening requirements
Retired Army Colonel CBRN or Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer
Preferred – Active Secret clearance desired, but not required.
