PPG has immediate openings for Production Employees for our East Point, GA facility. This position includes working in a coatings plant performing various jobs to support the production of coatings products. Starting pay for Production Employees is currently $16.00/hour, with full benefits. Hours are 2 nd shift (Mon - Fri, 3 pm - 11:30 pm). Job Duties & Responsibilities: Operate material handling equipment such as fork trucks, tank movers, worksavers, hydroscales, drum hoists, and drum handlers. Unload trucks and put away raw materials used in the manufacturing of coatings. May manage hazardous materials as part of daily activities. Retrieve & load pre-assembled raw materials & liquids, as specified on the batch ticket, into mixing equipment or letdown tanks. Perform required process checks on batches as specified on the batch ticket. Operate, adjust, and monitor filling and packaging machine and equipment. Ensure communication of problems / issues to supervision, maintenance, and relieving shift. Complete required process documentation including batch tickets, etc. Compliance with all site, company and OSHA safety regulations and all other site rules and policies.
