​Morrison Hershfield has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in our Atlanta Office.

The project manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including coordination with engineering and design teams of construction drawings, structural analysis reports, and field services. The project manager will also be the main point of contact for our clients providing proposals, contract negotiation, construction review and contract administration for telecommunications projects.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with telecommunication clients and can assist in business development.

The candidate will be responsible for the final quality control and engineering review and must be familiar with structural analysis principles. Entry to mid-level project management experience considered.

  • Manage all phases of telecommunication deliverables for construction drawings, structural analysis and field services;

  • Coordinate communication between engineers, field staff and clients;

  • Work with project design leads in defining, estimating and negotiating project parameters and deliverables;

  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for structural analysis, while monitoring project costs and controls to ensure that projects stay within budget;

  • Process project invoices and ensure invoices are paid promptly;

  • Managing contract administration;

  • Advise clients and management of any project delays or budget changes and provide resolutions or alternate actions as required; and

  • Provide final quality control on all deliverables.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 3-5 years of experience in telecom tower and mount analysis

  • Experience in small cell, CRAN and site development considered a plus

  • Familiar with typical telecom project schedules, pricing and scopes of work.

  • Desire to manage projects and focus on quality control. Experience in QA/QC considered a plus.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a strong track record of achieving goals and objectives within tight time frames

  • Experience with project management and excel tools for tracking, reporting and analyzing progress

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team of multi-discipline professionals

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with tower owners, design professionals, contractors and municipal authorities

  • Willingness to obtain climbing certification a plus to support field services
