Lead UX Researcher (Data Specialization)
Overall Purpose: Applies AI/Machine learning and human behavior principles to research problems and develop novel solutions that provide an outstanding customer/employee experiences for AT&T. This is an innovative, experience focused team that delivers end to end experience solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Determining how AI tools and techniques can create compelling user experiences. Desirable skills include experience in building and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models, NLP/NLU, experience with Big data platforms, software, and services such as Hadoop and Apache Spark. Additional skills required include development experience with Python, C++, Java, SQL, No-SQL, and R, as well as strong statistical skills.
This is both a creative thought leadership position and a hands-on solution creation position. Your responsibility will be for end to end effectiveness of solutions you create. From the details of the data that feeds the AI, to the algorithms, to the impact on outcomes of the user experience that you create. You will work closely with a highly skilled, close knit team of UX researchers, designers and developers as part of small project teams. Project responsibilities include accountability for the outcome of the experiences you help create. An understanding of business objectives and how to balance them with design and user needs is critical.
Education: Recommended Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Social Sciences, Information Science, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering or equivalent experience.
