Director of Disability Resource Center, #018134 Salary $68,070.00 - $81,684.00 Annually Location Bellevue WA, WA Job Type -Exempt Division Student Affairs Job Number 018134 Closing 11/2/2018 11:59 PM Pacific Job Status Full-Time Not Eligible for Overtime Non-Represented Description The Director of the Disability Resource Center (DRC) is a full-time, exempt position responsible for Bellevue College's commitment to an accessible and inclusive campus by ensuring compliance with federal and state disability laws as they apply to student access to instruction, services, programs and activities. The Director provides expertise in all aspects of disabilities to meet the mission of the College. The Director reports to the Dean of Student Success, is a member of the Student Affairs Cabinet, and is a member of Council for Inclusion and Diversity. Essential Functions/Typical Duties Advocacy and Provision of Accommodations Oversee the provision of student accommodations. Evaluate disability documentation and manage disabilities records with attention to the protection of confidentiality of all student records.Participate in professional organizations and professional development to stay current with literature and best practices pertaining to accommodations for students with disabilities in post-secondary education.
